Staying in Loèche-les-Bains

Leukerbad (Loèche-les-Bains) is nestled in a cirque of cliffs beneath the Gemmi Pass, at an altitude of 1,400 metres. Its hot springs, which have been in use since Roman times, feed the largest thermal baths in the Alps: visitors can bathe outdoors in water at 36 degrees, with snow-capped peaks as a backdrop.

Our apartments allow you to alternate between visiting the thermal baths, skiing and hiking, all from the comfort of your accommodation. The resort retains its village-like feel: everything is within walking distance.

The thermal baths

There are several spa centres, including the Leukerbad Therme and the Walliser Alpentherme, featuring outdoor pools, saunas and wellness areas. The water flows naturally from the mountain at a warm temperature, in both summer and winter.

The mountain

In winter, there is a ski resort at the foot of the Gemmi and toboggan runs; in summer, the Gemmi cable car provides access to hiking trails leading to Lake Daubensee and the Kandersteg Valley.
