The place
This large, century-old chalet, built entirely of wood, is nestled in the heart of the Vaud Alps. Spread over three floors, it combines rustic charm with modern comfort. Perfect for families or groups of up to 9 people, it offers spectacular views of the mountains from its balconies and garden. A piano, a fireplace, an outdoor dining area, a library and a cosy atmosphere make this the ideal retreat to recharge your batteries all year round.
On the ground floor, you’ll find a double bedroom, a bathroom with a shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a bright dining area and a cosy lounge with a fireplace and piano. Upstairs, the accommodation comprises two double bedrooms, a bedroom with a single bed and a workspace, as well as a children’s bedroom with a bunk bed. All of them, except the children’s bedroom, open onto a long shared balcony offering breathtaking views. A bathroom with a bath and shower under the eaves, with its exposed beams and rustic charm, as well as a separate toilet, complete the first floor. The chalet’s warm, timber-clad atmosphere makes it an authentic and peaceful place to stay.
There are no additional costs to expect apart from tourist tax, which is payable once the booking is finalised. Tourist tax, levied by Swiss local authorities, applies to all stays within Switzerland. It helps to fund the cultural, tourist and sporting facilities that enhance your stay.

« 5 éjszakát töltöttünk el Alex szálláshelyén. Nagyon jól felszerelt, tágas, kényelmes szállás. Nagy, modern, felszerelt konyhával, nagy nappali/étkező szobával. Mi nagyon jól éreztük magunkat, bárkinek ajánlom a szállást, aki szeretne kikapcsolódás, kicsit elvonulni a nagy városok zajától. »

« Es war wunderschön! Traumhaftes Panorama, tolle Lage im Ort. Das Holzhaus ist über 100 Jahre alt mit modernen Eingriffen (Küche, Bad, Wc, Heizung) und sehr guter Austattung, hochwertige Küchengeräte, Waschmaschine, Trockner. Es gibt viel Spielzeug, einen Kamin mit Holz, Musikinstrumente. Wir waren mit drei Kindern zum Skifahren dort. Lift, Supermarkt, Bäcker (extrem gut) in der Nähe. Zur Info: Vom Parkplatz (4 Parkplätze!) läuft man über einen schmalen Weg/Treppen zum Haus. Das Haus ist aufgrund seiner Bauweise zwischen den Zimmern teilweise hellhörig, vom UG ins EG führt eine steile schmale Holztreppe. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und werden den Ausblick vermissen! « The chalet of Alex was fully meeting our expectations, providing the most beautiful views from the rooms, cosy design anf comfortable beds, clean and renovated bathroom and kitchen, and so much more of the kitchen essentials! We spent magic times in front of the fireplace to warm up in the autumn evenings, however it was really warm in chalet as well. The atmosphere of the house and the surroundings is made for the inspiring reset in the mountains, would love to come back again! Thank you and good luck, Alex! »
